The Sport of Stan-Throwing
These guys are the Wet Bandits (a band). We were short on ideas for the photo shoot, so I suggested that the four larger band members throw the one small guy. I got super lucky with the composition on this shot - I think we got it on the second try.

Refracted Self-Portrait
This shoot consisted of a single fluorescent lightbulb, a piece of sanded glass, sun glasses, and me. The way the glass worked was that the further away I was from it, the more blurred I became. Also, I had to position the light so that it only lit me, and not the glass. But at the same time I had to get close enough to the glass so that enough detail would show through. Tough project, but I'm happy with the results.

Same idea here, but with different lighting and Photoshop treatment.
